A maintenance release for ActCAD 2020 is now available that includes enhancements to network licensing, many new color books for ActCAD entities, improvements to the user interface, fixes, and more.
ActCAD users can upgrade to the latest 92711 version using the CHECKFORUPDATES command. New ActCAD users can download the latest ActCAD version directly from the ActCAD website in the downloads area. Available in 64- and 32-bit, ActCAD is based on the IntelliCAD engine.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, ITC member Carlson Software cancelled its Go West Conference that was originally scheduled for April 20-22, 2020. If you were registered to attend the Carlson Go West Conference, you can transfer your registration to next year's conference and receive a discount on Carlson support, or you can receive a free Carlson software module.
Next year's Carlson conference is already scheduled for May 4-6, 2021 in Maysville, Kentucky. Save the date!

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting communities and families around the world, this is a difficult time for all. The ITC is working closely with employees, members and partners to ensure health and well-being.
At this unprecedented time of uncertainty, the ITC will not host an IntelliCAD World Meeting in 2020. However, ITC development continues, and so does collaboration. One small example is that internal ITC systems and tools are freely shared with ITC members, and with decades of experience working remotely, we hope these processes prove helpful as companies move to remote teams.
The ITC exists to serve its members. Working together has always been a pillar from which we operate, and our current world crisis is now demanding more. We wish good health for you, your families, and your communities.

Open Design Alliance (ODA) recently announced Version 2020 Update 2 of its suite of SDKs. IntelliCAD includes several ODA SDKs, such as Drawings, BimRv, Architecture, Civil, and Mechanical. IntelliCAD is also planning to switch its current IFC support to the ODA IFC SDK, as announced and demonstrated at last year's ODA DevCon 2019 in Milan, Italy.
The ITC starts working with new ODA SDK releases internally and in parallel with current development. This enables the ITC to incorporate the latest versions from the ODA as soon as possible.

ActCAD licensing now includes network floating licenses in addition to key-based and dongle-based licenses.
Network floating licenses float between LAN-connected computers (Internet not required). There is no need to install server software, and the licenses can be authorized by USB dongle, online license, or offline license.
