CADprofi now provides more than 40 CAD libraries for CMS IntelliCAD users at no cost. The libraries include data for electrical and HVAC industries: switchboards, bus-bars, lighting protection systems, pumps and boilers, exhaust systems, and much more.

The FRAMECAD system now includes a new version of FRAMECAD Structure, based on IntelliCAD. FRAMECAD Structure 9.2.3 includes smart panels, improved K-brace export, more truss and rafter input options, enhanced FRAMECAD Revlink importing and exporting, and more.

The upgrade is available at no additional cost for existing FRAMECAD licenses.

FRAMECAD Structure is worldwide-compliant engineering software for cold formed steel construction. It draws from CFS building codes for USA, Canada, China, Europe, Russia, Brazil, South Africa and Australia/New Zealand.

A new maintenance release for ActCAD 2020 is available. ActCAD users can upgrade to the latest version 92742 using the CHECKFORUPDATES command. The latest ActCAD version is also available directly from the ActCAD website in the downloads area.

Available in 64- and 32-bit, ActCAD is a native .dwg and .dxf CAD software program used for 2D drafting and 3D modeling. ActCAD is based on the IntelliCAD engine.

Did you know that IntelliCAD has robust AEC functionality? Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) is part of the ITC's BIM Special Interest Group, and there's a new, quick ITC tutorial available about drawing AEC entities in IntelliCAD.

Members of the BIM Special Interest Group are shipping IntelliCAD with the ability to draw and edit walls, windows, doors, stairs, and other AEC entities, all of which are compatible with ADT objects in other CAD programs. These members also have IntelliCAD functionality to directly import and export both IFC files and Autodesk® Revit® files, and then work with the content of those files. And like all things at the ITC, members not only have these features but also have open access to the source code.

Leica Geosystems recently announced the latest version of Leica Map360 crash and crime scene diagramming and reconstruction software. 

Leica Map360 is designed and developed by ITC member MicroSurvey Software Inc. Map360 is based on the IntelliCAD engine and the software aids investigation of incidents by visually communicating diagrams, pre-incident plans, incident reconstructions, and other courtroom exhibits.

Portland, OR, USA, May 29, 2020 — The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) today announced the release of IntelliCAD® Mobile 1.3.

IntelliCAD Mobile Platform 1.3 uses ODA Platform version 21.1 and Qt 5.12.8. New support is added for Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, Android NDK R21, XCode 11, C++17 standard, clang-format tool, and the Pdfium library (instead of PDF VI).

ActCAD recently released new video tutorials to help their users learn CAD faster. Video content ranges from beginner instruction for drawing simple entities to more complex design and production concepts. 

ActCAD users can access the video library for free using the ActCAD WEBVIDEOS command or by logging in at the client area of www.actcad.com.
